It on Thursday was declared to journalists by the Chairman of the CEC of Russia Ella Pamfilova at the end of last August 30 meeting of the leadership of the CEC, representatives of the presidential administration, heads of election commissions of regions and Deputy heads of entities in charge of domestic policy.

And those who would deem it possible to use administrative pressure on the electoral Commission, will face criminal and administrative responsibility, which this year was reinforced. I hope that all of our words were heard, and appeals will be implemented,” — said Pamfilova.
According to her, the meeting discussed all aspects of electoral campaigns in the regions, “based on a clear understanding of the responsibilities of each party solely in the framework of its competence”.
“At the same time agreed on early and effective interaction on a number of issues. For example: the logistics of polling stations (including availability of computers), safety, accessibility of polling stations for citizens with disabilities,” — said the CEC head.
In addition, the meeting talked about providing equal opportunities for all participants of election campaigns. “It is important for all, precise, unconditional compliance with the law and all the electoral procedures. Of course, the main focus is on the 20 regions, where practiced the innovations that will be used in the election [of the President] in March 2018,” — said Pamfilova.
