The election Commission of the Yaroslavl region has registered five candidates for the post of Governor

The direct election of the Governor of Yaroslavl region held for the first time since 2003. The course of the race without scandals. Of the six candidates for participation in elections the electoral Commission has registered five, including the acting Governor of the Yaroslavl region Dmitry Mironov. In elections will participate: Deputy of the regional Duma Sergey Balabaev (PARNAS), an unemployed resident of Vologda Cyril Panko (“Communists of Russia”), Deputy of the regional Duma Mikhail Paramonov (Communist party) and the Deputy of meeting of representatives of the Pereslavl district of the Yaroslavl region Andrey Vatlin (LDPR).
The regional election Committee refused to register the candidate from the “Yabloko” party, former Deputy mayor of Yaroslavl Oleg Vinogradov, as he has failed to overcome the “municipal filter”.
“10 points of growth” of Dmitry Mironov
The previous head of the region Sergey Yastrebov resigned 28 July 2016 on their own. Temporarily the acting head of the region was appointed Dmitry Mironov. Prior to this he held the position of Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, earlier — served in the FSO.
