Underwater rescue unit of the Northern fleet established a record dive

Upgraded deep-sea rescue apparatus “AC-34”

MURMANSK, August 30. /TASS/. Rescue unit AU-34 management of search and rescue operations (UPSR) of the Northern fleet (SF) broke the barrier in dives 1 thousand meters during the tests. As have informed on Wednesday to journalists by the head of UASR of the Northern fleet captain 1st rank Vladimir Gorban, this is a record figure for the rescue vehicles of SF.

“In the North-Western part of the Norwegian sea deep-water apparatus AC-34 were immersed to a depth of 1005 meters. Up to this point none of the rescue apparatus of the Northern fleet did not reach such depths,” – said Gorban.
