Angela Merkel is trying hard to build good relations with Moscow. In this the Chancellor assured the visitors at the open day in the building office of the Chancellor. There came dozens of residents of the German capital, reports channel “Russia 24”.
This year the event is especially interesting because less than a month in the country pass elections of the head of the office. “What to expect from the relations of Moscow and Berlin?”— this question asked one of the students standing near Merkel.
“Can we have a good relationship with Russia? I’m working on it — said Merkel. — We are trying to solve a complicated conflict in Ukraine. At the moment we are trying to ensure that the ceasefire in the Donbass acted to the beginning of the school year. This is the first step. Yes, I would like to have good relations with Russia.”
