“If such personnel will be released to the American Embassy or some other, of course, they will be special attention and special interest, if experts with experience in foreign missions with knowledge of the language, with knowledge of the specifics and so on,” said Izotov at a press conference.
“As for this specific case, some kind of special program we have. What treatment were such, we have accepted them in reserve,” he added.
Earlier, Moscow has ordered to reduce the U.S. diplomatic mission in Russia to 755 to 455 employees. Thus, the Federation equated the number of employees of the U.S. Embassy in Russia, the number of employees of the Russian diplomatic mission in the United States.
