KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 22. /TASS/. The third international military-technical forum “Army-2017” will be opened under the auspices of the defense Ministry on Tuesday in Moscow Kubinka. Total area of exhibition pavilions and open areas of the Convention and exhibition center “Patriot” will exceed 300 thousand sq. m.
According to the Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu, the forum “can rightly be called one of the world’s leading exhibition venues for demonstrations of weapons, military and special equipment”.
At the airfield of Kubinka, the landfill Alabino, in military districts and in the Northern fleet in the framework of the forum will be large-scale dynamic displays of weapons, military and special equipment. Scientific program will consist of plenary sessions, conferences, round tables and briefings.
The participants of the forum
According to the Federal service for military-technical cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia, this year the total number of participants of the forum will be more than 1 thousand Russian and more than 75 foreign companies. There will be a total of almost 2.5 thousand samples of military products.
