The Russian government plans to allocate more than 400 million rubles from the reserve Fund to complete the renovation of the three regional theatres and children’s center. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of culture of Russia.
The money will go to the reconstruction of the drama theatre in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Ryazan state regional theater for children and youth, Izhevsk State theatre of Opera and ballet, and the children’s space center in Kirov.
Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev stressed that these provincial agencies help to keep the citizens of the “common cultural space”.
In may, the head of the Ministry of culture Vladimir Medinsky urged the regions to modernize the rural house of culture. According to him, the new model DK will help to strengthen the family values of Russians. The Agency also developed a program for the construction and repair of rural houses of culture.
