Rostekhnadzor approved blasting operations at the mine “Mir”
Moscow. August 20. INTERFAX.RU Company ALROSA will hold a series of targeted explosions to expand the closure channel between the quarry and the shaft of the mine “Mir” for the sake of continuing the safe retrieval of the miners, the press service of the company.
This decision was made by the company at an emergency meeting in the Pacific with representatives of the emergencies Ministry, Rostekhnadzor, Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of internal Affairs, FSB, “NTTS-NovoTEK”, Yakutniproalmaz Institute.

In operation the rescuers and miners will be able to continue the search for the missing miners on the horizon -210 without risk to life.
The accident at the mine “Peace” ALROSA on August 4, was completely destroyed by mining and mining equipment, and flooded two of the horizon. Of the 151 miner rescued 143, the search for eight miners continue.
