An attack in Turku are investigating as a terrorist act
According to police, the attack was committed by 18-year-old citizen of Morocco.
TASS, August 19. The men attack passers-by in the city of Turku on Friday is being investigated as a terrorist attack. This was reported on Saturday, the Finnish Central criminal police.
What happened was investigated as a murder, but obtained during the night for more data it is now classified as murder committed with the aim of terrorism and attempted murder.
“The police found the assailant. It’s an 18-year-old citizen of Morocco”, — added there.
During the attack, confirmed the Agency, killed two Finnish nationals, eight people were injured. Among the wounded there is one Italian citizen and two Swedes.
