The Organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has responded to the deportation from Ukraine of the Russian journalist, an employee of the company Tamara Nersessian. Entry posted on Tuesday, August 15, in the Twitter of the office of the OSCE representative on freedom of the media.
“Hasty deportation of Russian journalists from Ukraine restricts the freedom of the media,” — said in a statement.
In the microblog also it is noted that the participating States of the OSCE should avoid restrictions on entry to journalists from other countries-members of the organization.
Earlier the Russian foreign Ministry expressed indignation at the gross violation of the rights of correspondents. The Ministry demanded from Kiev to strict observance of international obligations and appealed to the OSCE representative on freedom of the media, Alemu the Dezir with a request to assess the actions of the Ukrainian authorities.
On expulsion, the Nersesian security Service of Ukraine were informed on 15 August. It was reported that the woman deported with a ban for three years. In the broadcast channel “Russia 24” the journalist called accidents of professional activities.
