If killing a minor, a pregnant woman or a man, “the helpless, or financially or otherwise dependent on the perpetrator”, the period is extended to 12 years (previously up to 6 years), and if two or more people — up to 15 years.
In the same month, the President, communicating with students of the Educational center “Sirius” in Sochi, expressed the view that the Internet should be allowed everything that is not prohibited by law. The creation of “groups of death”, he was ranked as the destructive and criminal activities from which society needs to protect themselves.
On 18 July a court in Tobolsk sentenced the administrator of one of the “groups of death” in social network “Vkontakte” Budykina Philip (pseudonym Philip Fox) to three years and four months in prison for incitement to suicide. According to the investigation, Bodaken bowed to suicide 16-the summer inhabitant of Astrakhan, and 17-year-old girl from the village Irtysh Tobolsk district, Tyumen region. Both girls were rescued.
