The investigation into the crash of Tu-154 near Sochi extended until 25 December
Moscow. 15 Aug. INTERFAX.RU — the Term of investigation on the crash of Tu-154 plane near Sochi extended until the end of December, reported “Interfax” on Tuesday, a source familiar with the situation.
“The case will be investigated until December 25 — years from the date of the accident”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
He noted that the extension of the investigation is due to the large amount of legal formalities, including those associated with registration of the fact of death of passengers to be carried.
“As you know, several dead bodies have not been discovered”, — said the source. He did not rule out that the investigation period may be extended again after December 25.
The Ministry of defence of Russia on the results of the investigation previously said that the crash of Tu-154 near Sochi could occur because of the violation of spatial orientation by the commander, which led to his erroneous action in the operation of the ship.
