MOSCOW, August 15. /TASS/. The Chairman of the Central election Commission of Russia Ella Pamfilova has said it will not resign under pressure from the opposition, as well as will not encourage the registration of Alexei Navalny on elections of the President, even with mass street protests.
She announced this in an interview with RBC, released Tuesday.
Previously, Pamfilova said, that the Bulk may not be registered in the presidential elections because of a conviction. He was convicted on the case of “Kirovles” of part 3 of article 33, part 4 of article 160 of the Criminal code is five years imprisonment.
According to the head of the CEC, Bulk can help only a miracle: for example, if he submits the appeal, the court will cancel the current sentence, the conviction will be withdrawn or, in the case of amendments to the law, allowing to stand with conviction.
