Trump did not rule out the “military option” actions against Venezuela
WASHINGTON, August 12. /TASS/. The US President Donald trump has not ruled out a military operation in Venezuela.
“We have a lot of options for Venezuela. By the way, I’m not going to rule out a military option,” said U.S. authorities at the Golf club in new Jersey after meeting with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson and U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley.
“It is our neighbor. We have soldiers around the globe in places that are very, very far away. Venezuela is close, people suffer and die. We have many options to Venezuela, including a possible military option if necessary”, — continued the head of the White house.
He was asked a question, the implication is under this a US-led military operation. “We’re not talking about it. But the military operation and the military option is definitely something we can take,” concluded trump.
