The court extended the arrest of ex-Governor of Sakhalin in the case of large bribes
Under arrest remained and two accomplices Alexander Horoshavin.
Moscow. 7 Aug. INTERFAX.RU — southern-the Sakhalin city court in its decision on Monday has left under arrest of ex-Governor Alexander Khoroshavin and his two former subordinates of Sergey Karepkin and Andrew Ikramov another three months.
“The prosecution’s request to satisfy, to extend the period of detention of the state prizes of up to 9 November,” announced the decision of the judge Elena Policia.
For the same period extended the arrest Ikramova, karakina and house arrest Borisov.
August 9 is the deadline of detention of the former Governor, Ikramov street, karakina and detention under house arrest of ex-Minister of agriculture and food Nikolai Borisov (his period of house arrest extended until November 9).
Southern-the Sakhalin city court on March 6 began consideration of the criminal case. The defendants — former head of the region Alexander Khoroshavin, Deputy Chairman of the government of the Sakhalin region Sergei Karakin, Advisor to the Governor and Ikramov Minister of agriculture Nikolay Borisov (he is under house arrest).
They are charged with in parts 5 and 6 of article 290 and article 174.1 of the RF criminal code (receiving a bribe, legalization of funds obtained as a result of the crime). The total amount of bribes, according to the investigation, is about 522 million rubles.
