The Prosecutor General’s office will consider the request of the Vice-speaker of the state Duma Irina Yarovaya for verification of the retail network “Auchan”, told RNS the Supervisory authority.
“Inform the General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation organized the referral of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation I. Spring A. in connection with the placement in the media reports about the introduction of the company “AUCHAN” for mandatory social audit in respect of suppliers of food products (registered in the General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation 14.07.2017). The appeal will be considered in due time”, – stated in the message Department.
The Ministry noted that “by results of check in the presence of bases resolved the question of the adoption of measures of public Prosecutor’s reaction”.
Earlier, Deputy speaker of the state Duma Irina Yarovaya has sent a request to the Prosecutor General of Russia Yuri Chaika with a request to give legal evaluation of the actions of the trade network “Auchan”, said the representative of Spring. The Deputy asked the Prosecutor General’s office “to give a legal assessment procedure of social audit, which from 1 January 2018, according to media reports, enters the trade network Auchan, but also to take the necessary measures to prevent violations of the law”.
