Member of the Public chamber of Russia Maxim Grigoriev told “Газете.Ru” that many regional candidates, who failed to overcome the municipal filter, just wanted to draw the attention of the media.
As noted by Grigoriev, according to the regional OP, in Buryatia Republic and Sverdlovsk region opposition candidates Vyacheslav markhayev and Yevgeny Roizman not even addressed to all municipal deputies, ready to put his signature.
The party “Yabloko” electoral Roizman, Grigoryev accused of provocation with the purpose to attract additional media attention.
The public man similarly described the situation in Sevastopol, where he failed to advance Vadym Kolesnichenko from the party “Great Motherland”.
“Газета.Ru” earlier wrote about how municipal filter is used to prevent the election of undesirable opponents.
