Rumors that U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson plans to retire are false. As reported by RIA Novosti, told reporters, state Department spokesman Heather Nauert.
“That’s not true. We talked with the Secretary of state. He made it clear that it intends to stay here in the state Department, we have a lot of work remains to be done. He understands and he is deeply involved in this,” she said.
According to Nauert, Tillerson before the end of the week in Washington appointed a number of meetings. “He is pleased to serve the President”, — said the representative of the state Department.
Earlier on Tuesday, 25 July, the TV channel CNN, citing sources, reported that Tillerson because of disagreements with the White house may prematurely resign. He supposedly had too many disagreements with the American President Donald trump.
