Russia’s Supreme court upheld the liquidation of the organization, “Administrative center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia”, reports “RIA Novosti”.
“Judicial Board of the Supreme court decided to dismiss the appeal of the organization on the decision on its liquidation”, — stated in the decision of the court.
Previously, the Supreme court recognized the extremist activities of “administrative center of Jehovah’s witnesses in Russia”, which controls the branches “Jehovah’s Witnesses” in Russia and banned its activities. Then, the organization announced the beginning of the preparation of the appeal to this court.
