Tourists from Rostov-on-don has gone missing in the mountains of the Irkutsk region and Buryatia Republic

Moscow. July 11. INTERFAX.RU — Rescuers of Irkutsk region and Buryatia Republic began the search for a tour group from Rostov-on-don, lost in the mountains, reports of EMERCOM in the Irkutsk region.

In duty shift of control Center in crisis situations received a statement from the wife of one of the participants of the tour. She reported that a group of eight people on June 17 went to sports-water hike with the arrival by helicopter in the upper reaches of the river onot the future transition to the Kitoy river in the North-Eastern slopes of the Eastern Sayan.

“The group was supposed to go on air on 3 July at the time of transfer to the Kitoy river through Irkutsk. However, in the set time, tourists were not contacted and their whereabouts are not known”, — is spoken in the message.

Tour group did not register a route in emergency departments and has no other means of communication besides cell phones. Currently, the rescuers are checking information through senior groups that move along this route. Ready is airmobile group and the aviation Ministry.
