Media: militants announced the death of the leader of the IG
TASS, July 11. The militants of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG banned in Russia) announced the death of the leader of the organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. On Tuesday he said the TV channel “Al-Sumaria”, citing a local source in the Iraqi province of Nineveh.
According to him, the militants made a brief statement in which it announced the death of its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and the name of the “new Caliph”.
