MOSCOW, December 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday will take part in the meeting of the expanded Board of the Ministry of defence. The defense Ministry plans to summarize the activities of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation in 2016 and to announce plans for 2017. The meeting will be held at the National defence control centre.
As previously reported the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, “the President will hold an expanded meeting of the Collegium of the defense Ministry.”
Supreme commander traditionally participates in such meetings. So, in December 2015 the main themes of his speech included the fight against terrorism, maintaining a high level of combat readiness of the Russian army and technical equipment of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation.
