Former Turkish intelligence chief: Ankara needs to create an agency to check weapons contracts 
Ankara needs to create a special agency that could verification of arms contracts in terms of potential negative consequences: such can be the sale of Turkish Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by the former chief of intelligence of the General Staff of Turkey, Colonel General Ismail Hakky Beijing in an interview with Lenta.ru correspondent Khayal Muazzin.

The ex-head of intelligence proposed creating a system in the Turkish government that would allow assessing the risks from the sale of weapons. In addition, Ankara could create a multi-stage system of checks, in which parliament can participate.
Beijing also admitted that Turkey should have expected Kiev to use UAVs against Moscow. In addition, such deals can be compared with the supply of weapons to Armenia bypassing Azerbaijan.
At the same time, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, commenting on the use of drones in Donbass, noted: they cannot be called Turkish after the agreement on the sale.
