British newspaper the Daily Star reported that Russia could detonate a nuclear bomb in the Arctic.
The publication suggests that the explosion of the Russian bomb caused the release of radioactive particles, previously recorded in Eastern Europe.
Also the publication claims that the Pentagon has sent to the British air base Mildenhall aircraft WC-135 Constant Phoenix, which is tasked with collecting samples of the atmosphere to detect radioactive substances. Earlier the same aircraft had been sent to North Korea.
By assumption, the British tabloid, the departure of the aircraft demonstrates the United States fears that Russia produced nuclear weapons test.
Earlier, Norwegian media reported the probable release of radioactive isotope iodine-131 in Eastern Europe. It was also alleged that traces of radioactive substances were recorded in Northern Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, France and Spain.
