Tuva, Chechnya and Ingushetia headed “birth rate” of the Public chamber
Moscow. 14 Feb. INTERFAX.RU — Tuva and the two republics of the North Caucasus have become the regions with the highest birth rate in Russia, told the Public chamber of the Russian Federation.
“The public chamber of the Russian Federation made up the national birth rate, according to which the leaders were of Tuva, Chechnya and Ingushetia, outsiders — Leningrad, Pskov and Magadan region”, — stated in the message of press-service of Public chamber, received by “Interfax”.
The top ten also included the Dagestan Republic, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Altai, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Tyumen oblast, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra and the Republic of Buryatia.
“Among the regions with the lowest demographic indicators -Leningrad, Pskov, Magadan, Smolensk, Oryol, Bryansk, Volgograd region, Mordovia and Tula and Tambov region”, — noted in press service.
In addition, experts of the Public chamber found that the most comfortable environment for the birth of children in the Belgorod region, St. Petersburg and Tambov region. The least comfortable environment in Moscow, Irkutsk region and Chechnya.
“The ranking is given on the basis of open sources and the statistics (1 January 2016). The total score consists of five criteria: fertility, population growth, the number of children per woman, the number of induced abortions, the level of social comfort for birth rate”, — told the press service.
