Democratic Senator criticized trump for the lack of criticism of Russia
Moscow. 14 Feb. INTERFAX.RU — democratic Senator Ben Cardin called on Tuesday the policy of the President of the United States Donald trump in relation to the Russian threat to the United States.
“It is shocking that the President of the United States Donald trump still refuses to criticize Russia. Its policy (towards Russia — if), or lack thereof, dangerous to the USA,” he wrote in his Twitter.
Earlier, trump wrote that he does not understand why he is criticized for stance on Russia, and insists that he was not familiar with Russian President Vladimir Putin and did not conduct business in this country.
In addition, the Senator believes that Russia is a threat because allegedly tried to influence the elections in the United States. As an example, Moscow’s threats he calls the Ukraine, the Crimea and Syria.

Cardin insists that the investigation in connection with allegedly held a discussion of sanctions between the ex-adviser to trump security Michael Flynn and the Russian Ambassador to the USA Sergey Kislyak. Previously, the press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the content of media reports about Flynn’s conversation with the Russian Ambassador is wrong, though such a conversation really took place.
