MOSCOW, February 8. /TASS/. Information about the alleged plans of delivery by Russia to Iran of missile complexes s-400 is not true. This was stated by Russian Ambassador to Iran Levan of jagaran in an interview with TASS.
“Occasional “stuffing” on the possible supply of s-400 does not correspond to reality,” he said.
The diplomat also noted that to date, Moscow has completely closed the contract on delivery to Iran of complexes With-300. “Last year, Russia has fully completed its obligations for the supply to Iran s-300”, – he said.
Airbase in Iran and videoconferencing
As stated by jagaran, videoconferencing will use the military infrastructure of Iran for operations against the terrorists in Syria if Moscow and Tehran deems it necessary.
“I would like to stress again that if the leadership of the two countries deem necessary the use of Iranian military infrastructure to fight terrorism in Syria or anywhere else, such actions will be taken”, – said the diplomat.
In August last year, the Russian military used the Iranian military air base Shaheed Knife in Hamadan for strikes on militants in Syria. In December, the defense Minister of Iran Hossein Dehgan said that Iran is ready to consider the request of the Russian Federation on the use of the military base, but negotiations have not yet begun.
