Both spruces are artificial. In the patrimony of Father Frost, they explained that it is impossible to decorate a living tree as beautifully, and the main tree in Veliky Ustyug “must be spectacular.”
“Our tree is made with natural needles, they gave it to us. The entire estate is located in a pine forest, there is enough naturalness. But it is almost impossible to decorate a live spruce so that toys and lighting fit beautifully, ”the source said.
Earlier, Veliky Ustyug was named among the most popular destinations among Russian tourists for the New Year. Analysts of the Tvil.ru service, in turn, noted that the greatest excitement for New Year's holidays is observed in Veliky Ustyug – the demand for housing in the homeland of Santa Claus increased by 800 percent compared to last year.
