Starting November 29, the application can be downloaded on iOS and Android. The Yappy service allows you to shoot and edit videos up to one minute in length, create collaborative videos, and supplement and share already published viral videos. It is noted that the video editor is suitable for both content creation professionals and beginners. The service plans to replenish and modernize the sets of filters and effects.

At the end of September, representatives of Gazprom-Media said that Yappy will target both content creators and those who just want to watch videos. The holding's press service noted that the main target audience of the platform will be users aged 14 to 34, “who lead an active lifestyle, are passionate about self-development and career, and for whom personal recognition and material success are important.”

Earlier, VK announced the launch of a new music service on the BOOM application platform – VK Music, which will include the VK Music application (formerly BOOM), music sections on VKontakte and Odnoklassniki social networks, and new instruments for musicians and labels. It was reported that users will be able to listen to music from the media library on VK and Odnoklassniki, and will also be able to play tracks in offline mode.
