KP.RU: Crimean agricultural enterprises apply for grants to popularize rural tourism 
Rural tourism is gaining popularity in Crimea. For its development, producers of agricultural products are allocated grants. You can visit wineries, cheese dairies, as well as the lavender fields of the peninsula. KP.RU told the Russians about an unusual type of travel.
It is noted that with the transition of Crimea to Russia, rural tourism was outlawed. According to Russian legislation, agricultural land can only be used for these purposes. However, producers who want to develop rural tourism are ready to provide subsidies in the amount of three to ten million rubles.
An agricultural firm in the village of Turgenevka, Bakhchisarai district, is applying for the grant, among others. It is famous for its lavender and sage fields – 60 million tourists visited them over the year. Travelers are also planning to be attracted to flower festivals, which are ready to be held by local national communities.
Local winemakers are ready to immerse themselves in the culture of the Crimean Greeks. However, according to the law, it is impossible to build a hotel on farmland. “On our territory of 20 hectares, honey plants grow and bloom, and for tourists we equip places for tents and do glamping for those who come by car or on foot,” said Oksana Kuznetsova, co-founder of the agricultural park in the Lak Valley.
< p> According to the authors of the material, Crimea has a potential in shaping trends in rural tourism. Local cheese dairies, wineries, smokehouses and bakeries, as well as apiaries and artisan workshops can be attractive for travelers.
