The Ministry of Labor proposed to extend payments to health workers for work with COVID-19 until the end of 2022

The Ministry of Labor proposed to extend special payments until the end of 2022 health workers working with patients who are diagnosed or suspected of having a coronavirus infection. This is stated in the corresponding draft published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

“The draft resolution of the government of the Russian Federation proposes to extend special payments to doctors, nurses, nurses, ambulance drivers, members of flight crews of air ambulance aircraft working with patients who are diagnosed or suspected of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19, “the explanatory note to the project says.

The document also implies an extension for a similar period of payments to employees of law enforcement agencies providing medical assistance in the diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus.

The intention of the Ministry of Labor to extend payments to health workers until 2023 became known in early October. For these needs, the government, on behalf of the President of the country, will send 69 billion rubles to the regions. Funds for these purposes will be allocated from the government reserve fund.
