Rada deputy Buzhansky: Ambassador Melnik's words about the “Holodomor” will affect the launch of SP-2

in his Telegram channel that the words of the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnik about Berlin's indirect responsibility for the Holodomor may have an impact on the launch of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

“There is nothing to comment on, besides, that the ambassador chose the best moment to spit in the face of the Germans – the period of the last approvals of the SP-2 (Nord Stream-2, – comment of Lenta.ru ), ”the deputy wrote.

Buzhansky noted that he considers the words of the diplomat the highest degree of disrespect for the memory of the victims of the tragic events of the early 1930s.

Earlier, Melnik wrote on his Twitter account that Germany was indirectly responsible for the famine on the territory of the Ukrainian SSR, since Berlin was the main trade partner of the USSR in 1932. Therefore, the ambassador concluded that Germany “is morally obliged to recognize this crime as genocide of the Ukrainian people.”

On November 18, the Russian authorities announced the readiness of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, everything is technically ready for launch.
