A resident of the Voronezh region was fined for escaping from a covid hospital in Astrakhan

A Russian woman was fined after escaping from a covid hospital. This was reported by the press service of the Semiluksky District Court of the Voronezh Region.

At the end of July 2021, a resident of the Voronezh Region fell ill with COVID-19 while traveling. She was admitted to the Astrakhan infectious diseases hospital. At night, the patient escaped and went home.

“From Astrakhan to Moscow, she flew by plane, and from Moscow to the very house by taxi,” the message says.

After returning to the woman became ill and was hospitalized. An administrative case was initiated against her under the Code of Administrative Offenses on non-compliance with the mandatory isolation regime from the moment of the disease of a new coronavirus infection, which poses a danger to others. She was sentenced to a fine of 20 thousand rubles.

Earlier, three patients who were being treated there escaped from the Krasnodar psychiatric hospital. According to law enforcement agencies, the men managed to cut down the bars of the hospital, after which they escaped.
