St. Petersburg police detained two young people on suspicion of involvement in a photo session at the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. The photo in which the teenagers posed in front of the cathedral without pants had previously appeared on social networks. The picture shows two naked guys. One is facing the building, and the other with his back.

According to Fontanka, the regional department of the Investigative Committee (IC) has opened a criminal case under Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of the right to freedom of conscience and denominations, public actions expressing clear disrespect for society and committed in order to insult the religious feelings of believers. ”).

A similar incident took place in October. Investigators opened a criminal case on insulting the feelings of believers after 22-year-old webcam model Lolita Bogdanova bared her breasts in front of the St. Basil's Cathedral in the center of Moscow.
