In Russia, a criminal case was opened against police officers for the rude detention of a schoolgirl

SK: a criminal case has been opened against police officers from St. Petersburg after the arrest of a schoolgirl rude detention of a schoolgirl. This is reported on the website of the department.

It is noted that the case was opened after the publication in social networks of a video of how a 14-year-old girl is being forced into an official car. According to the results of the pre-investigation check, law enforcement officers are charged with abuse of office (part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The investigation is under the special control of the leadership of the Main Investigation Department in St. Petersburg. Also, a check on the detention of a schoolgirl in the Kalininsky district of the city was launched by the office of the St. Petersburg ombudsman for the rights of the child, TASS reports.

The department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region reported that the situation is being studied. They explained that on November 17 at 14:30 on Grazhdansky Prospect, a police officer stopped the girl for gross violation of traffic rules. He introduced himself and warned that the child would be brought to administrative responsibility, but the offender refused to show her passport and provide personal data. After that, she was asked to go to the police department to establish her identity and draw up a protocol.

The department added that the schoolgirl resisted. Later, her father arrived at the scene, and together they were taken to the department, where it turned out that the girl was underage. After a preventive conversation, both were released.

Earlier, the victim's mother published a video of the rude detention. She stated that the child was driven to hysterics. The footage shows how three police officers drag the schoolgirl into the car. At the same time, the schoolgirl screams and resists. A woman who witnessed what is happening, in the video tells law enforcement officers that she will write a complaint about them, but the police do not react.
