In Moscow, the Colonel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was sent under house arrest in the case of a bribe

The court placed under house arrest the head of the anti-crisis department of the Ministry of Emergencies, Colonel Samarin

The Presnensky court of Moscow chose a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest to the head of the anti-crisis department of the Moscow department of the Ministry of Emergencies, Viktor Samarin, accused of taking bribes. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the court.

The decision was made at the request of the investigation for a period until January 18, 2022.

Earlier on November 19, it became known about the arrest of Samarin and the first deputy chief of the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow, Colonel Andrei Mishchenko. The officers' criminal cases are not interconnected – the colonels took money independently of each other, they were detained during two special operations.

At the same time, both detainees received a bribe of 50 thousand rubles. For this, Mishchenko and Samarin promised entrepreneurs to issue passports of objects necessary for going through the licensing procedure.
