Larke noted that the country is experiencing the worst drought in the past forty years, which makes it difficult for tens of thousands of local residents provide yourself with food. “People face severe malnutrition, and 28,000 people live in conditions similar to hunger, when life is in danger,” he said.
OCHA has asked the international community to allocate $ 231 million for a special humanitarian assistance program a million Madagascars.
