600 paintings by Russian artists were presented at the exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod

The “Unity” exhibition opened in the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum

The “Unity” exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod presented more than 600 works by almost 500 Russian artists. This is reported by TASS.

The exposition has opened at the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum (NGHM). It will run until December 5.

“The exhibition is very large-scale, the exhibition is extremely important and significant, since it represents all Russian regions. The art of our entire immense Russia from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad is presented here in a variety of paintings, “said Irina Marsheva, head of the department of national art at the Novosibirsk State Art Museum.

According to her, more than six thousand people have applied for participation in the exhibition. As a result, 624 works were selected in different directions: painting, graphics, sculpture, arts and crafts, folk crafts. As Marsheva noted, the exposition “demonstrates the commonality of trends in the development of the fine arts of Russia and introduces the best works.”
