The deceased was a chess player and was fond of orienteering. His 11-year-old sister found him and called his mother. The possible motives of the adolescent's act are still unknown. Investigators are engaged in the case.

Earlier it was reported that in the village of Radishchevo, Krasnodar Territory, a Russian teenager tried to commit suicide because of a terrible dream, which he saw after talking with his father via video link. The boy was saved by a physical education teacher. The man burst into the office and took away a bottle of kerosene and a kitchen knife from the seventh grader. Later, he took the teenager to a school psychologist.
