Microsoft has added Media Player to Windows 11

Windows 11 has an updated player for music and video playback. This is reported on the Microsoft website.

An application called Media Player appeared in the beta version of the new operating system. The program added to the OS has a design in the style of Windows 11, allows you to play both audio and video. “At the core of Media Player is a full-featured music library that lets you quickly browse, play, and create and manage playlists,” said Microsoft spokesman Dave Grochocki.

The new app will replace Groove Music, which was previously pre-installed on Windows. The old Windows Media Player can also be installed on the operating system.

The message states that the new application will automatically play all media content on the computer. Media Player supports displaying album art, works in normal, compact and full-screen modes.

Earlier it became known that Microsoft will return the original color of the “blue screen of death” – blue. This screen is currently black on Windows systems.
