Iraq condemns inhumane treatment of refugees trying to get to Europe

The Iraqi authorities condemned the inhumane treatment of refugees trying to get to Europe who are trying to get to Europe, and oppose their forced return to their homeland. This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Migration and Refugees of the Republic of Ivan Gabro.

It is noted that Variola appreciated the efforts of the Iraqi authorities and also expressed rejection of violence against Iraqi refugees at the border.

Earlier it was reported, that Iraq plans to send the first flight to return home citizens trying to break into the EU through the Polish-Belarusian border. The first export trip was scheduled for Thursday 18 November. At the same time, according to representatives of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, those who decide to voluntarily return to their homeland will be able to use it.

The migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the European Union began at the end of May. Large groups of illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East began to storm the borders of Lithuania, Poland and Latvia in the hope of obtaining asylum in the European Union.

The crisis escalated on November 16, when some refugees tried to break into Poland. In response, the Poles used special means, as a result of the incident, soldiers, migrants and journalists were injured. Then Lukashenko gave instructions to place illegal immigrants in the logistics center.
