Russia appreciated the introduction of a test that detects a fake vaccination certificate

According to him, the test for the presence of special antibodies in the blood is not planned to be used in large quantities in Russia. “We are not even going to commercialize this test. We created it in order to check the statistical epidemiological data related to vaccination using Sputnik V within the framework of a specific work, and not to test it en masse, ”Gunzburg said.

The specialist noted, that, in his opinion, such work should be carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor's office, and the investigating authorities. “If you need some kind of special expertise, that's another matter,” he said, adding that forgery of vaccination certificates is tantamount to counterfeiting money, travel documents, etc.

Previously, data of more than 500 thousand Russians from the Moscow region who bought fake vaccination certificates and PCR tests were put up for sale on shady Internet resources and Telegram channels. As one of the sellers told the publication, a base of one thousand lines costs 120 dollars (about 8.5 thousand rubles). It contains passport data, SNILS, telephone numbers, addresses of places of residence, as well as information on the dates of obtaining certificates.
