The Ministry of Sports opened the second season of the All-Russian competition of sports projects “You are in the game”
The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation on November 16 launched the second season of the All-Russian competition of sports projects “You are in the game”. The event brings together thousands of sports enthusiasts and helps to identify and support interesting sports initiatives that motivate Russians to lead an active lifestyle.
The All-Russian competition of sports projects “You are in the game” is aimed at finding bright initiatives that can make sports an integral part of people's lives. Thanks to the event, participants can declare themselves to the whole country and bring their projects to a new level. Submitters of the top 250 applications will have access to an educational accelerator that will help them develop sports management skills and improve their initiatives. Finalists in the nominations of the competition will receive a grant of 300,000 rubles for the development of projects. The winner of the competition will receive a grand prix in the amount of 1,000,000 rubles.
The competition is held for the second time. Last year, the first season attracted 2,608 applications from 85 regions of Russia. The organizer of the initiative is ANO “National Priorities” with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation in the framework of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”.
“The projects of the first season of You're in the Game have shown us how diverse mass sports are in the country. And most importantly, the competition helped to find and unite people who share the values of the federal project “Sport is the Norm of Life”. Participants of the second season will have an equally interesting and rich program. One of the most important components of the competition will be an educational accelerator, which will be formed based on the needs of the contestants and will help them in the development of projects. Do not be afraid to declare your initiatives, go ahead and implement your ideas to the end! ” – emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The nominations of the competition allow you to participate with a wide variety of applications – from startups to large-scale projects. It can be kids, amateur or adaptive sports. The main thing is that the project is not only interesting, but also useful for people – regardless of their age and lifestyle. In total, the second season of the All-Russian competition “You are in the game” will include five main nominations.
You can apply for participation in the competition from November 16, 2021 to January 21, 2022. To do this, just register on the site and answer a number of questions. Online and offline projects from the field of amateur sports are allowed to participate. Both legal entities and individuals can participate, the main thing is that at least five people are involved in the initiative.
“For the Ministry of Sports, the competition is extremely important – it is part of the implementation of the federal project“ Sport is the norm of life ”within the framework of the national project“ Demography ”and its task is to make sport more accessible to people, – noted the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin. – The works presented in the first season showed how versatile sports are in different parts of the country. We will provide strong support for the implementation of the competition. Projects aimed at the development of children's, mass sports, projects related to the popularization of sports in the media will be welcomed and evaluated. I consider this aspect to be one of the most important – informing people about the possibilities of the project in the vastness of our country, creating a positive image of a healthy and successful person. This is a task that will be difficult for us to solve without the help of information resources. ”
The selection stage, within which 250 projects will be selected for the long list of the competition, will take place until February 4, 2022. At the second and subsequent stages, projects will be considered by members of the expert council.
An educational accelerator will operate from February 11 to March 7, 2022 for participants included in the long list of the competition. This is a unique online sports management and project management program developed by experts and educators from leading universities. The program will be formed on the basis of a survey, which will reveal the most pressing issues and topics of concern to the contestants. Participants will go through a training module, and then, based on the information received, they will be able to finalize projects for submitting presentations to the next round of the competition.
Also on February 4, a popular vote will begin on the competition website, in which everyone will be able to support the best in their opinion projects. Until April 1, 2022, the expert council will select 25 projects for the shortlist of the competition. Full-time defense of projects will take place until April 15, 2022.
