Mansion Global: an unknown person paid 2 billion rubles for penthouses in central London an unknown billionaire paid 21.4 million pounds (more than 2 billion rubles) for an entire floor of penthouses in a house located in the West End in the western part of the city center. This is reported by Mansion Global.

According to the newspaper, the buyer got premises with a total area of ​​about 650 square meters, as well as about 93 square meters of terraces. There are seven penthouses on the floor.

The name of the buyer has not been disclosed – it is only known that he is a billionaire from abroad. He intends to combine the seven acquired apartments into two. Together, they will have eight bedrooms, as well as a home theater, library and fitness room.

Construction of the complex, where the deal is concluded, is scheduled for completion in 2023. It consists of two buildings – one is designed for 69 apartments, the other – for 23. The first floors will house retail and office premises.

In the spring of 2021, Russian demand for luxury housing in London grew by 50 percent compared to with the indicator for the same period last year. Real estate in the British capital rushed to buy ultra-highnets – those whose fortune exceeds $ 30 million (2.16 billion rubles).
