The number of victims as a result of the shooting in the Dagestan mosque rose to three – another person died, for whose life doctors were fighting. This was announced on Friday, November 12, by the Telegram channel Mash Gor.

According to the Telegram channel, the 47-year-old brother of the deceased Imam Arip died in the hospital. As a result of the incident, 3 people were killed, including the attacker, and five of Abid Magomedov's children were left orphans.

The incident took place in the village of Ametermakhi, Akushinsky district of the Republic of Dagestan. 62-year-old Asadulla Rakhmanov opened fire with a Kalashnikov rifle at Imam Abid Magomedov, his brother Arip and 25-year-old nephew Magomed. Magomed was able to stab the shooter in the neck with a knife when he ran out of cartridges. An armed pensioner died on the spot.

Earlier it was reported that the cause of the conflict could be a land dispute between fellow villagers. According to some reports, two pistols were found at the scene. Who they belonged to is currently unknown.
