As Sergeant S. said, the most popular jobs in the Ukrainian army today are painting equipment, fences and curbs, sweeping the parade ground and cleaning territories, and combat training exists only on paper.
In turn, the officers interviewed by the publication noted that the motivation of contract soldiers is “below the baseboard,” and there is no question of patriotism and the desire to fight. According to them, conscripts are used as auxiliary forces in the darkest jobs, and no one is engaged in training and combat training of conscripts.
Formerly the former leader of the radical organization “Right Sector” (banned in Russia) and the new adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmitry Yarosh, said that the President of the country and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelensky does not have much authority among the military. According to him, the issues of material support of the army are not fully resolved and there is no stimulation with salaries.
