Violinist Dmitry Kogan has died on 39-m to year of life
MOSCOW, August 29. /TASS/. Russian violinist, honored artist of Russia Dmitry Kogan has died on 39-m to year of life. About this TASS said Tuesday the personal assistant of a musician Jeanne Prokofiev.
“Yes, it’s true,” she said, answering the question TASS reported about death of the musician.
“The cause of death was cancer,” said TASS a source close to Dmitry Kogan.
Dmitri Kogan was born October 27, 1978 in Moscow in a musical family.
His grandfather — a violinist Leonid Kogan, she was a violinist and teacher Elizabeth Gilels, father of conductor Pavel Kogan, the mother — pianist Love Kazinskogo.
In ten years, Dmitry appeared for the first time with a Symphony orchestra, fifteen with the orchestra in the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
In 1997, the debut of a musician in the UK and the USA. Dmitri Kogan regularly performed in the most prestigious concert halls of Europe, Asia, America, Australia, middle East, CIS countries and Baltic States.
