SC opened a criminal case on the fact of death of children in a fire in St. Petersburg
According to preliminary data, the cause of death of the victims is smoke inhalation.
SAINT PETERSBURG, August 27. /TASS/. The investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the death of two children in a fire that occurred in a residential building in the Petrogradsky district of St. Petersburg. About it reports on Sunday press-service of the Main investigatory management SK across the city.
“Criminal case on signs of the crime provided by article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence”). According to preliminary data, the cause of death of the victims is smoke inhalation and the fire was the result of faulty electrical wiring”, — informs GSU.
The incident occurred late in the evening on August 26 in house 7 at the Big Raznochinnaya street. The body of two year old boy was found after the fire, his 11-year-old sister died in the ambulance. “It is established that during the fire the parents of the children were walking on the street with a dog,” added GUS.
