The Russians saw the need for education of the child both parents
Moscow. August 20. INTERFAX.RU — the Vast majority of Russians (92%) believe that both parents must equally educate the child; that a critical role must be played by one of the parents, father or mother, say to 3%, according to Fund “Public opinion”.
In the survey conducted July 29-30 among 1,500 respondents in 104 localities of the Russian Federation, one in five (19%), Russian first learned that, by law, leave to care for a child under the age of three can take any of the parents. This 81% of respondents.
If someone in the entourage of the respondents became a father and decided to take leave to care for a child, 77% would respond positively and 15 percent negatively.
According to sociologists, most Russians (80%) believes that in the case of unplanned pregnancy, the decision whether to bear a child or not, should be combined. Another 14% put it in the hands of women, 3% — in the hands of men.
Responding to a question regarding the majority of Russians expressed the opinion that now in Russia women (48%) and men (57%), entering into marriage, try to postpone having children at a later time. At the same time, 29% and 16% of respondents respectively believe that women and men, conversely, tend to have kids early.
