The staff of the Ural state variety theatre appealed to President of Russia Vladimir Putin with a request to intervene in the situation with the criminal persecution of the head of the institution culture chansonnier Alexander Novikov. Petition in defense of the musician is published on the website change.org.
“It’s been more than two years passes so-called “Queens Bay”, mocking in its essence […] everything that happens, except “borzota in uniform”, another call is impossible”, — said in the petition.
The authors of the petition were more than 300 people. The appeal to the head of state noted that the “Queens Bay” customized for the organization’s pursuit of the head of the theatre is “a group of persons hindering the election to the post of Sverdlovsk oblast Governor E. V. Kuyvashev, which actively supports the policy of Alexander Novikov”. The document notes that the prosecution should be discontinued immediately due to lack of corpus delicti as “Bay Queens finished and are in the process of commissioning”.
